Childcare Access and Equity Resource Support Unit

C.A.E.R.S.U./ISA. The Inclusion Support Agency (ISA) aims to build the capacity of eligible childcare services to include children from the following priority groups who require support to access mainstream Child Care Services:
> Children from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds, including refugee children and Australian South Sea Islander Children > Children with on-going high support needs, including children with disabilities and > Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children
Support is available to provided to service staff, carers, directors, co-ordinators, owners and management committee members: > Private and community-based Long Day Care Centres > Family Day Care Schemes > Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Program > Occasional Care Centres > Multi-functional Centres > Vacation Care Programs

CAERSU/SSP: The Social Skills Program (SSP) SSP aims to strengthen the capacity of local communities to enhance the health and wellbeing of families with young children 0 - 6, having an emphasis on prevention and early intervention. The goal is to develop an innovative Social Skills Development Resource Booklet for early childhood environments and parents.
