Community Settlement Service Stratergy
The Community Settlement Support service provides client focused, culturally sensitive settlement support that promotes self reliance and independence in newly arrived communities in the Brisbane South West corridor. This service is a referal service, we introduce newly arrived communities to service providers to facilitate settlement through:
- Referral to relevant services to address client needs
- Assistance to access services
- Focused settlement information
- Advocacy on behalf of clients
- Support to service providers to deliver client centred, culturally sensitive services
- Life Skills programs and community capacity building activities
- Youth Program
- Integration activities
