The Church of the Nazarene in Sittella Street was built in the 1960's and although only a smallish group, it attracts members from as  far a way as Browns Plains and Ipswich. It has American associations where it originated about 100 years ago and is based on the Wesleyan traditions. The local Minister is the Rev. Marinn Kent    Ph. 3372 2194.
 
This is a massive Vietnamese Church at the corner of Lilac and Eucalypt Streets.
Members of the Viet Community can often be seen working at improving  the landscaping, tending the garden beds, fencing the playing field attached to the church and installing a huge display of religious statuary.
   
The Cao Dai Vietnamese  Church
Cao Daism is a Vietnamese attempt to synthesize Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism and Humanism into a religion.
   

This Buddhist Temple in Deodar Street is a centre for Vietnamese residents to stay in touch with their Buddhist Religion. Its  has a link to the Buddhist Association of Queensland and aims to provide help to all Vietnamese in Queensland. Particularly the young and the aged  It has plans to build a retirement home nearby and is also building a  recreation hall on the site.  The Master there is Ti’en Huu. Ph. (07) 3372

   
The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints (Tongan Branch) Blackthorne Street 
The Church is keen to teach young people good values.
   

The Anglican Church in Poinsettia Street looks like it could be in a rural setting,
 but it’s actually on the main road through Inala.

This is one of the earlier Churches in the district. Unfortunately a few years ago fire destroyed it and a new Church was built. The current Priest is Father Best who incidentally is the published author of a book of poems entitled “ From Under The Bench” This church is also the base of The Rev.Alex Gator Queensland’s first female Aboriginal Priest.

   
Baptist Church in Biota Street
The Baptist Church  was built next to the Biota Village Shopping Center and opened on the fourth of July,1959.  A hall was built attached  to the Church Quite a few years later.

St.Marks Catholic Church

Situated in Lilac Street, this church has a large school behind it, plus accommodation for the Nuns alongside, as well as a small Housing complex next to that.
