The
Anglican Church in Poinsettia Street looks like it could be in a rural setting,
but it’s
actually on the main road through Inala.
This is one of the earliest Churches in the district. Unfortunately a few years ago a fire destroyed the original building and a new Church was built. The current Priest is Father Best who incidentally is the published author of a book of poems entitled “ From Under The Bench” This church is also the base of The Rev.Alex Gator. Queensland’s first female Aboriginal Priest. |
