In the early days of Inala

In the early days of Inala when I first came here it was a new housing authority suburb with not many trees, undeveloped gardens and most housing in the area looked like this. Things improved of course over a period but in the last five years with the help of State Government and the Brisbane City Council community renewal assistance scheme, Inala has made a dramatic improvement. THE NEW INALA has seen many of the housing authority homes upgraded with new patios, kitchens, security, carports, better driveways and modern fencing. A large number have been sold and improved privately and many of those knocked down and rebuilt to modern standards like these
