Kev Hooper Memorial Park (Hyacinth &Lavender Streets,)

Kev Hooper a former M P. for this area, lived in Inala overlooking this park now named for him. He served for over twenty years and was particularly known for his campaign, way back, against police corruption. The park is very large and was the focus of a world wide Trees for Peace campaign By Lions International, Inala in conjunction with Brisbane City Council.

A Memorial Plaque to this function is displayed on the Lavender Street side of the park. Plaques from participating clubs world wide are on display in the foyer of the Inala Library.
