This park was named for a tenant in Inala who won the Myers Cup in 1994 for the best garden in Brisbane.. A spectacular win. Especially for a tenant rather than an owner.
Gordon also voluntarily looked after the Police Citizens Youth Club gardens for many years
The Park is includes a road sense training ground for young visitors where they can practice using road rules, and if on bikes ,the practical experience of road riding with road signs to observe.
